K-beauty is a trend taking over the beauty industry for valid reasons. They’re about achieving that natural glow with as little product as possible. I also find that they are the safest products to use if you’re acne-prone or have sensitive skin.
So when switching to Korean products, consider my best Korean skincare for sensitive skin.
I can’t live without these and they’re a staple in my routine now. Let’s get to it!

1. Mixsoon Bean Essence

Mixsoon is a leading Korean skincare brand. From all their products, this bean essence has gained quite the hype.
And after trying it, I can see why! The essence is made from fermented soybean and fruit juice extracts. The ingredient list is short – and that’s what you look for when you have sensitive skin.
It has a stretchy texture but luckily doesn’t leave a sticky finish. It also contains vitamin A and pre and probiotics to nourish, hydrate, and replenish your skin’s health.
For optimal results, I recommend using the bean essence with Mixsoon’s bean eye cream made from similar ingredients. This product has a more buttery and creamy feel though.
2. Bonajour Green Tea Water Cream

I believe in brands that are led by a CEO who also has sensitive skin. That’s how you know you’re getting a product that’s been perfected for your skin.
That brings us to Bonajour, a K-brand owned by Kim Dahae. She understands the struggles of sensitive skin and created the vegan, cruelty-free brand to help others like her.
Their Green Tea Water Cream is one of their top sellers. It’s a cream gel that’s super hydrating and is almost cool to the touch. It’s lightweight and doesn’t sting acne scars or open pores either.
81% of the ingredient list consists of peptides and natural extracts that help moisturize and plump all skin types.
3. Pyunkang Yul Essence Toner

This Pyunkang Yul Essence Toner became my holy grail pretty quickly. Over 91% of the ingredients are derived from plants, enriching the product with nutrients.
Additionally, it contains no dyes, preservatives, fragrances, or any irritants that will harm your skin.
With this cruelty-free toner, you’ll notice your skin becoming plump and supple after application.
The product’s viscosity and transparency are also a plus. Applying it becomes easy, and it doesn’t leave behind any residue.
It’s not just perfect for sensitive skin, either. It works well with oily and combination skin, too.
Due to the short list of ingredients (only seven!), it doesn’t irritate and soothes any skin type.
4. Herbloom Vegan Calming Days Sunscreen

Sensitive skin folk like me and you can’t afford to skip sunscreen – nor should anyone for that matter!
It’s one part of our skincare routine we can’t forget because the sun can do a lot of damage to our already-burnt-out skin.
Herbloom Sunscreen is the best calming, lightweight product for those particularly sunny days.
Its formula is non-greasy and non-sticky. Plus, it has a silky feel and contains humectant ingredients, like glycerin.
As for the SPF, it’s 50+ PA++++ which means it’s a broad-spectrum sunscreen. It offers plenty of protection against UVA and UVB rays as well.
Don’t worry about the white color, by the way. There’s no fragrance, and it has a clear finish.
5. Purito Unscented Centella Serum

Purito is a brand that advocates using only raw, natural ingredients. Most of their products are cruelty-free, vegan, and sustainable too.
Their Centella Serum (which happens to be unscented!) is anti-aging, targeting wrinkles, fine lines, and crow’s feet. Additionally, it’s the perfect product for acne- and rosacea-prone skin.
Containing about 49% centella extract, the ingredient reduces redness and irritation and soothes the skin. Other ingredients in this serum, like peptides, hydrate, and plump your skin.
The best thing about the serum is that you can use it during the day or nighttime.
So whenever you’re struggling with scars, problem areas, or congested skin, apply this serum for immediate relief.
6. Pyunkang Yul Black Tea Eye Patch

Another Pyunkang Yul product? Yup. I can’t get enough of this brand. I believe it’s similar to Mixsoon in quality and transparency.
These two brands never fail to please my sensitive skin needs. So I had to include their Black Tea Eye Patch on the list!
In 20-40 minutes, you’ll notice the smooth texture it leaves behind and the soft feel under your eyes.
It’s made of hydrogel material, which means you might notice some residue left behind after taking the patch off. That’s normal, don’t worry.
Use your fingernails to pat it on your skin. It will further help reduce puffiness and dark circles.
